I am spending my senior year in Chicago, stepping into the role of Roxie Hart from Chicago, and it feels surreal.

Roxie is bold, hungry, and desperate to be seen. Playing her in the city that shares her name feels electric. This year already feels like a turning point in my life, and Roxie’s ambition mirrors that energy. She wants the spotlight. She refuses to be invisible.

Becoming Roxie is not about copying her sparkle. It is about understanding the woman underneath it. And as I grow into her, during my final year before stepping into the professional world, I feel like I am claiming my own space too.
