Barter Theatre

Working with Barter Theatre was such a special chapter in my journey as an artist. As one of the longest-running professional theatres in the country, Barter carries this incredible sense of history and community, and getting to be a part of that legacy felt both humbling and exciting.

During my time there, I had the opportunity to perform as part of the ensemble and bring stories to life in The Jungle Book and The Reluctant Dragon. Each production stretched me in new ways from the physicality and playfulness of The Jungle Book to the whimsical, heartfelt storytelling of The Reluctant Dragon. Both shows reminded me of why I love theatre in the first place: the ability to connect with audiences of all ages and invite them into a world of imagination.

Barter gave me the chance to grow not just as a performer, but as a collaborator and storyteller. I walked away from the experience with a deeper appreciation for ensemble work, for the magic of live performance, and for the joy of being part of a theatre family.
